Christi Byrd is a climate scientist, an urban ecologist, and an artist. She has always been fascinated by the natural world and has brought that same curiosity into the urban setting. She is presently interested in the phenomenon of massive global urbanization, both as a result of and a response to the scale and pace of environmental and technological changes.
